Temporo-Mandibular Joint Disorder

Every time we talk, eat, or express emotion, we rely on a small but crucial joint in our face—the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). When TMJ disorders develop, they don’t just disrupt normal facial movement—they can leave you feeling like, “I can’t even speak.”

What Causes TMJ Disorders?

  • Psychosocial stress
  • Dental occlusion issues
  • Stress-related behaviors (e.g., teeth grinding)
  • Joint overload
  • Anatomical abnormalities

The highest incidence and number of medical visits occur among individuals aged 20 to 30.

How to Prevent and Manage TMJ Disorders

  • Medication
  • Physiotherapy
  • Use of jaw splints or bite plates

Treatment Protocol for TMJ Disorders

Step 1: Place the device near the jaw joint, just in front of the ear. Use for 8 minutes.

Step 2: Reposition the device across the width of the jaw, with the mouth slightly open. Use for another 8 minutes to allow the joint to open and enhance laser penetration.

Recommended Frequency: Use twice a day, 30 minutes per session. One treatment cycle lasts 5 days, followed by a 2-day break. Two full treatment cycles are recommended.

Maintenance Therapy: After improvement, continue with consolidation therapy as needed.

  • Just below the ear (TMJ area)
  • Along the jawline with the mouth slightly open

The results may vary, so continue using it. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us – we’re here to help!
